Fairs and Festivals

North Coasters love festivals! There is no shortage of them on the Oregon Coast and Long Beach Peninsula in Washington. Kite festivals, seafood festivals, arts festivals, sandcastle contests – you name it, we have it. Some of our more unique events include a Scandinavian Festival, a Barbershop Caberet, and a Tall Ships (sailing ships) event in nearby Ilwaco, Washington. Throughout the off-season months, enjoy events such as jazz festivals, Oktoberfest, and the Fisher Poets readings. If you are looking for something more traditional, try the Clatsop County Fair in August.

Seaside Jazz Festival

Located throughout Seaside bring your sense of adventure and dancing shoes for the annual Jazz Festival. Normally held at the end of February no need to worry about the weather because you can ride a free shuttle between five venues to catch hour long sets of classical, ragtime, swing and even gospel.
