If you are a hot rod or classic car enthusiast, the North Coast is the place to visit! Whether your interest is hot rods, antiques, special interest and builder cars and trucks, show-quality vehicles, or all of the above, there is something for you. Throughout the year there are several car shows within a short drive from Seaside, from Tillamook to Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula.

There are two yearly car shows right here in Seaside: Seaside Wheels 'N' Waves in September, and Seaside Muscle & Chrome in June. Seaside Oregon: Wheels ‘N’ Waves Car Show

You won’t want to miss the widely popular Seaside Wheels ‘N’ Waves Car Show. An annual four day September event that features builder and street cars from 1962 and earlier. Stroll downtown and see the cars up close, watch the cruise, visit vendors, and take in the awards presentation. There is a two-day poker run, a poker walk, a treasure hunt, a downtown cruise, and a beach party.

Seaside Oregon: Muscle & Chrome

If Hot Rods are more your thing, plan on attending Seaside Muscle & Chrome in June. It features show-quality vehicles from '60 to '78 and factory-performance vehicles from '79 to the current year. View the show vehicles, visit the builders' showcase and vendor alley, and vote for your favorite vehicle. Participate in the treasure hunt, take in the entertainment, check out the poker walk, watch the street cruise on Broadway in Seaside, and don't miss the Coast Highway cruise! Coast Highway Cruise: The vehicles assemble in Tolovana Park and cruise north through Cannon Beach, then south to Manzanita, and finally up Coast Highway 101 back to Seaside.
